Tonight I screened, to make sure the digital 3D was functioning properly and the "ingest" into the Doremi server was good (it was), Final Destination 4.
I am not a fan of the series.
I would have rather watched Ponyo. My theatre didn't get that one. The one across town did, and they have already dropped it. back to Final Destination...
Lots and lots and lots of impalement, chopping, crushing...the usual stuff.
In 3D.
I know it sounds odd coming from ME, but I didn't like the movie. I seldom watch these things even when they are 2D.
This thing is going to make money this weekend. I just know it.
My headache is finally gone...and hour and 15 minutes after watching it.
One scene involves a theatre inside a shopping mall. A old, bald manager bites the dust.
A racist ass dies in the first 30 minutes, so there is some redeeming value.
The theatre building has a computer controlling the lights inside and outside. When I was leaving the auditorium, the hall lights were all out. Disconcerting any other time. Really freaky after watching THAT movie. Glad I'm a geek as I had my flashlight...
